Glass fiber chopped strand mat is a kind of alkali free or medium alkali glass fiber non-woven mat product. It is made of continuous glass fiber strands which are chopped into 50 mm in length, distributed uniformly without direction, and mixed with powder polyester binder (or lotion binder). This product has good compatibility with resin (good permeability, easy defoaming, low resin consumption), easy construction (good uniformity, easy layering, and good adhesion to the mold), high wet strength retention rate, good transparency of the laminated board, and low cost. Suitable for hand lay-up molding of various fiberglass products such as plates, daylighting panels, hulls, bathtubs, cooling towers, anti-corrosion materials, vehicles, etc., and also suitable for continuous fiberglass tile units.
[Product Usage]
A glass fiber felt made by cutting "E" glass and bonding it with an emulsion binder, suitable for hand layup
Applied to enhance unsaturated polyester resin.
[Product Features]
The resin has fast impregnation speed, good moldability, and is prone to * * bubbles.
The fiber and binder are evenly distributed, without defects such as hairiness, stains, and debris.
The product has high mechanical strength and high retention rate of wet strength.
It has high dry tensile strength and reduces the occurrence of tearing during the production process.
The surface of the laminated board is smooth and has good transparency.
Uniform thickness, no stains, debris, and other defects
Moderate hardness, easy to fully immerse, and products with few bubbles
Fast soaking speed, good processability, and good fiber erosion resistance
Has good filling and covering properties, suitable for forming products with complex shapes
Good mechanical properties
[Storage method]
Products should be stored in a dry and cool place. If not in use, please do not open the packaging or tie the packaging tightly to avoid dampness
