Geogrids should be laid according to requirements during special construction, as follows:
Firstly, the slope bottom should be leveled, tree roots and grass should be removed, and the pits should be filled in. The local height difference of the slope bottom flatness should not exceed 10cm. Stacking sand bags at one end of the slope should be stable, and the gaps between the bags should be filled with soil. The sand loading rate of the sand bags is 70% -80%. Stacking sand bags can serve as soil retaining and formwork, and can also reinforce the slope.
The formwork shall be erected at the slope end. The formwork is composed of rectangular Flat noodles and T-shaped steel plate. The two do not need to be connected, but to facilitate disassembly, wedges can be driven between the long Flat noodles and L-shaped steel plate. When removing the formwork, the steel fiber can be inserted into the gap between the Flat noodles and the steel plate to pry out the steel plate.
Secondly, the geogrid at the end of the slope should be folded back and fixed: the lateral length of the geogrid at the end of the slope should be 1.5-2.0m. When the filling height reaches 2-3 layers, the geogrid should be folded back and fixed on the filling soil, and then continue to fill the soil, burying the folded end into the soil. Generally speaking, when the slope gradient of a slope reinforced with fiberglass grating is less than 45 degrees, it is not necessary to wrap the grating back to ensure local stability of the slope surface.
